AK-47 is an automatic assault rifle. The muzzle velocity is 715 m/s and effective distance 350 meters. The arched magazine is 30-round of 7.62 x 39 mm ammo. As each bullet travels through the barrel, a portion of the gases expanding behind it is diverted into the gas tube above the barrel, where it acts on the gas piston. The piston, in turn, is driven backward, pushing the bolt carrier, which causes the bolt to move backwards, ejecting the spent round, and chambering a new round when the recoil spring pushes it forward. The AK-47 uses a notched rear, tangent sight.
This model is made of an alloy of zinc and aluminum, flask, handle and grip on the barrel are made of natural wood.
