We present you with a replica of armor belonging to Sir George Clifford.
The original was made in the Royal Workshop armorers
in Greenwich at the end of the XVI century. by armorer Jacob Halder.
His work can be admired now at The Metropolitan Museum in New York.
The armor is carved entirely by hand with a steel plate.
Alloys in blue.
Ornaments adorning the armor has been etched and gilded like the original.
Gilding using cyanide bath (historically were mercury baths, and this is the only difference).
The interior armor is padded velvet and leather.
Height (without stand) 175 cm.
Weight approx. 30 kg.
