Originated from Yemen knife Janbiya was particularly popular in 17th and 18th century. Used in Arabic countries, Turkey, Persia and India. It is combat knife but used also at the rituals and dances. The janbiya hilt testifies of the status of the owner who worn its by the side.  The whealthiest man has hilt made of African rhinoceros horn.

The hilt is wooden with narrower grip characteristic to janbiya from Yemen. Decorated with two solar symbols. The blade is double-edged and curved at the tip. Made of highcarbon steel. This weapon is unsharpened but able to sharpening.

The set includes black, leather sheath with brass shoe.
