The presented letters knife is a miniature replica of Polish Hussar saber. Sabers of this type were common among the hussars and other cavalry formations in 17th and 18th century. The replaced used earlier batorowka sabers.

Specifications:

This saber has circular curved blade with so-called feather on the foible. The cross-guard almost fully closed for protection of the hand and increasing weight of the handle. The pommel slightly moved forward. It has also a thumb-ring suitable for thumb support.
The whole saber (blade and handle) was made of galvanized zinc and aluminum alloy.

The set include tasteful, black etui for a cutter and a description of Polish Hussar saber.
