POLISH cavalry SABRE WZ 1917 RADZIWILLOWKA WITHOUT scabbard

This saber is an exact replica of Polish saber used in Polish-Soviet War (1919-1921) and patterned wz. 1917. Most of this type sabers was made by Warsaw companies: Borowski, Morawski or Bieńkowski. Named in Izabela Radziwill honor.

The blade is curved, with barely showed feather, decorated by floral motifs, symbolic of white eagle with crown and engraved inscription “HONOR AND FATHERLAND”.
The hilt is fully closed, with golden casing. The handle tied by decorative tassel. The cross-guard with the three hoops, connected in the middle of the first. Back arm of the cross-guard has teardrop finishing. The grip covered by black leather, golden thread and ornamented hood.
The prize doesn’t include a stand.
