POLISH SABRE WZ1934 WITHOUT SCABBARD - GOD HONOR HOMELAND
Manufacturer: Spanish Armorers (WZ 1934)
The presented model is an exact replica of Polish cavalry saber wz. 34. Produced in Kielce, in local steelworks Huta Ludwików. To the beginning of WW II there were produced 40 000 pieces of that weapon.
Specifications:

The hilt is completely closed with golden casing. The grip made of beech wood, notched on both sides, fasten by two screws.
The blade slightly curved, finished with feather. One side of the blade is richly ornamented – floral motifs, white Polish eagle with crown and inscription “GOD HONOR HOMELAND”. Second side of the blade is still smooth, able to engraving.
This type of sabers had to undergo series of hard tests:
- when dropped free from the height of 2 meters it was to pierce a steel sheet 2 millimeters thick
- the blade pressed against a hardwood stub was to bend 150 millimeters to either side without breaking or deforming
- cut five 5 millimeters steel bars without damaging the edge
- the scabbard had to survived 120 kg pressure
- survive a powerful blows into a hardwood stub with the flat and the spine
