Presented replica is a Russian semi-automatic pistol PM-9 Makarov. Designed by Nikolay Fyodorovich Makarov. Makarov PM pistol in 1951 was made in the course of exploration ever better gun misconduct. The main aim of the new model of service weapons were basic attributes: the gun had to be smaller, lighter, and more reliable than its predecessor.

The PM-9 is a medium-size, straight-blowback-action, frame-fixed-barrel handgun. The 9×18m cartridge designed also by Makarov. Magazine has 8-round capacity. The muzzle velocity is 315 m/s. Effective firing range 50 meters. The PM is heavy for its size but the Makarov is widely regarded as particularly well balanced in its design elements. It also has a removable magazine.
