Flintlock musket with bayonet "BROWN BESS", ENGLAND 1722.1054
Dimensions: 190 cm
Weight: 3,470 g
A reproduction of the English "Brown Bess" rifle made of wood and metal, with loading and firing mechanisms.
The weapon, officially called the Short Land Pattern Muskett, was one of the most widely used firearms in the 18th and 19th centuries. It was a long and heavy rifle with a smooth barrel and large caliber. It is characterized by a solid structure and the reliability of the flintlock mechanism, but also a short range and low projectile speed, similar to other models from this period.
This rifle was the primary weapon of the British infantry during the American Colonial Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars (1799-1815).
Relive the Napoleonic battles of the early 19th century with a DENIX reproduction of this rifle!
