Literary figure figurine depicting Henryk Sienkiewicz's novel "Ogniem i Mieczem", which is the first part of the famous trilogy set in seventeenth-century realities Republic od Poland. The prototype Sienkiewicz was a Cossack hero Colonel Ivan Bohun, who during the uprising of Bohdan Chmielnicki (1648-1654), and this event is the main canvas of the novel, is famous for, among others, at the Battle of Beresteczko, where he commanded the defense of the Cossack camp.
